Five years of photography and research have gone into ‘A Visual Celebration of Giant Pandas’, filled with beautiful photographs and educational information about the giant panda, its habits, and its future. The sales and promotion of this book is part of RWS conservation initiative. 100% of the authors’ sales proceeds will be donated to WWF for wildlife conservation. Book Signing: Members are also invited to meet the authors and have their copies autographed at the book signing event, 11 November 2012, 2pm, The Maritime Experiential Museum, Resorts World Sentosa Pricing: $29.96 (usual price $37.45). Come and meet Maxime Pilon and Daniele Weiler, the authors of The French in Singapore, at the French Marche. They will be giving a talk about the history of the French community in Singapore. An Unexpected Journey: Path to the Presidency, SR Nathan's memoir published by EDM in 2011, has won the Best Nonfiction Award at the inaugural Singapore Book Publisher's Association Publishing Awards. The Awards were held on 7 November at the Rendezvous Hotel. The Awards were attended by industry members including representatives from local and international publishers as well as booksellers and the Media Development Authority Singapore.
