Professor Dr M. Kamal Hassan is Rector of the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He has held the Malaysian Chair of Islam in Southeast Asia at the Centre for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University, Washington D.C., and sits on the editorial boards of al-Tajid, Intellectual Discourse, and the American Journal of Islamic Social Sciences.
Dr Ghazali Basri is Director of the Institute for the Study of Islamic Sciences, and has served as the Chairman of Islamic Outreach (ABIM).
